BF Rich Window Coil Springs

A landlord from Bedford, VA says:
I am pretty sure you have what I need, my pictures didn't turn out great, but the scan of the part number did.

Both sides of the coils broke, so I need both plastic parts and coil springs for both sides.

Can you confirm what I have and what I need to order. Again, I will need both left and right sides and as well as both plastic parts and coil springs.

Thank You!

Hi there!

We can help but we'll need to see an undamaged pivot shoe removed from your window, along with dimensions, to compare to our inventory.

If we can identify the pivot shoe, that will tell us the coils and accessories that you'll need.

Thank you!

A landlord from Bedford, VA says:
Both sides left and right are broken, the picture I sent was of the top piece, are you saying you also need the Lower piece?

It will have to be this weekend, I am out of town until then.

Thank You, let me know if the bottom piece will work to get the info.

Thank You.

Hi, Dale.

I'd need to see your pivot shoe removed from your window, which would be the lower piece in your first picture. Identifying your pivot shoe will help us find the coils and accessories that you'll need.

We'll be here to help once you have that.

A landlord from Bedford, VA says:
Here are the photos of the bottom shoe and when I removed both the top and the bottom, I noticed a "7" stamped on the end of the spring coil. So I assume I need the "7" pound version.

With these new pictures and the others I sent last week, can you help me decide which of your products I need?

In removing the shoe, I lost the little clip that holds the top shoe in place, I had to remove it slide the bottom shoe up and out. Do you have that clip as well?
Thank You.
Dale

Thanks for the additional pictures, Dale.

I see the width of your pivot shoe is 1-1/4" wide, can you tell us the depth? I'm thinking of replacing it with our S140-7.  Could you show us your pivot bar along with dimensions as well?

A landlord from Bedford, VA says:
Thank You so much for being so helpful, I apologize for taking up so much time, you guys are the greatest!

I suspect you are correct, the S140-7 is the correct one. Mine does measure 9/16 thickness (Depth).

I will also order (2) of the 26-200.

Attached is the picture.

Thank You
Dale

Hi, Dale.

I would still like to see your pivot bar removed from your window, along with dimensions, to see if it would fit into the S140-7

A landlord from Bedford, VA says:
I am hoping I have provided the pics you need to determine if your S140-7 will work on my windows. I mentioned earlier in one of my posts the number 7 is stamped on the end of one of the coils.

Again, I really appreciate you taking so much time to help me.

Have a great day!

Your pivot bar will work with the S140-7. The #7 on your coil stands for 7 lbs. Is there one 7lb coil spring on each side of the sash?

No problem, Dale. I'm happy to help!

A landlord from Bedford, VA says:
Yes, only one on each side. I will place an order for 4 so I can have a spare, I have a lot of these windows in my houses.

Thanks you, I feel really good about this purchase!

Great job!
