This is the first of several windows in which I need to replace the channel balances for non-tilt. It is clear that they are 1/2 inch. Seems like the part is S380 or S385, but I am concerned that I can't match the 15-2 markings on the existing part. Also, the shoe size difference between part S380 and S385 seems so immaterial that (e.g. 3/32 of an inch) that i am struggling to determine which might be correct. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

The 15-2 isn't necessarily meant to be matched to the new part. Just because the balance says that, that doesn't mean we should pick a part without measuring. Measure and pick the balance that's physically identical to the old one. If you have a 1" shoe, choose Series 380 and if you have a 1-3/32" shoe, choose Series 385.
