What would you recommend to replace BSI 30E RR? Looks like S770-30 is close, although that has a little tail on the bottom that the BSI does not. Probably would just not use that.
Also, this window has always been difficult to close, which I believe indicates that we should drop from an E to a D. Sound right?

Hello,
I agree that your balance resembles the 770-30 (30E) but I'm not sure what tail part you're referring to. If you mean the white screw plug at the top, that is just for extra support and will install the same way as long as your balances also use a screw for installation.

As for the strength option, the windows could be difficult to close due to the damaged balances. To confirm if 30E is the correct strength option, I'd recommend weighing your sash to determine if it falls within the 29-33 lbs range they would support. Thank you!
