BSI Channel Balance

Question

I need a replacement BSI channel balance for a pivoting single hung Silverline brand window. Overall length is 27" for the metal channel without the tilting locking pivot shoe's length included.

Stamped on the channel is "26 9 BSI" and "RO" in a smaller font.

The channel is 9/16" wide and 1/2" deep by 27" long.

The locking shoe is the pivoting type, and has the white plastic cam and locking tabs with an "open" locking slot. On the long part of the pivot lock shoe is "32" in the molded end of the beige plastic.

Hope the pictures help. Why is it difficult to find a replacement?

Thanks for reaching out to us. Our S795-27 is my recommendation. However, note that you will need to purchase the 15-195B (sold separately) and swap it with the default shoe. The video below will show you how to do so. The stamp on your balance doesn't match our rating system so you'll have to weigh the window sash and refer to the chart under the product description on the S795-27 store page to determine the proper option.
