What Balance Do I Need

Please review the style of the 15-180 pivot shoe that is compatible with the Series 190 coil springs. Review all dimensions to confirm a good fit! 

Also see the 15-181 support clip and 15-182 balance bushing.

Each coil spring should have a number stamped on the the metal that indicates the strength of the spring needed to support the sash. If there are no markings, please provide the weight of the window sash to move forward. Thank you! 

Thanks! So for the first window, I believe you can use four 5 lbs. springs. That will give you 20 pounds of total support, which should be fine. See our S190-540.

For the second window, I'd suggest four 4 lbs springs, which will give you 16 pounds of support. See our S190-440.
