Balance

Question

The diameter is 5/8 of an inch. The length is 30 inches. The problem with my window is that is I open it it won't stay opened it will just fall back down to become shut again. I have a non tilt slide window.

It definitely sounds like you need a new balance. My first instinct is to recommend our S600-30, but you say that your window is non tilt. Looking at your pictures, I can't really tell how your balances connect to the sash. Can you confirm that they're non-tilt?
