Hi, the balance I need, looks like the 385 series.
STAMPED ON THE BALANCE NOW: 29 3 BSI TE
I neglected to measure the length of the balance, but the sash is 31 1/2" tall.
Is this enough info to order (hopefully)?
It's a long drive back to get length.

Hi, Eric. The best bet is to measure the precise length of the metal channel, excluding the plastic end pieces. However, in lieu of that, you can generally add 1 to the first two digits of the stamp: your "29 3" stamp probably refers to a 30" balance. The only way to verify that is to go measure the metal channel, though.

Exactly. You need a 30" balance with a 2930 stamp option.
