Balance Choice

Question

HI - Please help me choose which balances I need. They are all the same, and I need 8 of them. They are all 24" long by 1/2". The only identifying numbers I found are "2330", with an upside-down "R" next to that number, plus a tiny "B.S.I" next to the "R". On your site it looks like I need either the S-351 or the S-390 but darned if I can tell 'em apart. These are about 25 years old.
**IN ADDITION, one of the photos shows the top corner of a window with the little black plastic end-cap sheared off. Can you provide me with a replacement, or direct me to where I might find one?

Thanks for contacting us. The difference between the S351-24 and S390-24 is the size of the bottom shoe. I'm afraid I can't determine that based on your photos, but if you measure your shoes and compare them to the dimensions we show on our site I'm confident that will tell you what you need.

That top corner you show is known as a top sash guide. We have many, but I would need to see an undamaged version if possible. I'd like to see it out of the window from the front and side, sort of like a mug shot. Knowing it's dimensions would also be a big help. In the meantime, you can see our entire selection here.
