Balance Coil Replacement.

Question

Hello,

I need two new balance coils for a Capital Windows Series 8500 window. They both seem to have snapped. Unfortunately there are no stamped numbers on the coil. I asked my tenant to measure the window and she says it is 23x24 (it is a single hung bathroom window).

With the pictures I sent and this information can you please determine which coil is needed?

Actually the dimensions should be 23x25. Thanks and Regards

Take a look at our Series 190 coil spring. This is commonly used with our 15-180 pivot shoe, so if your pivot shoe is the same style then I think this is the right balance spring to go with. You'll need the stamp on the old springs to determine the proper Series 190 option; I'm afraid I can't make out your stamp in the fourth picture.
