Balance ID

Question

My single hung bottom half of window measures approximately 45" wide. The metal balance is 28" long. The only marking on it is 27 4 BX CMC11. I am trying to purchase two balances so I can have a repairman install them. I live in Kingman, AZ and parts are not easily found here. Attached are a few photos (not the best quality-I apologize).

If there is any way you can identify the proper balances that I can order, it would be appreciated

Thanks for posting. Based on this picture, I would recommend you start by looking at our S351-28 channel balance. Just make sure that the nylon attachments are the same size! You may also have our S390-28, instead. In either case, I also recommend our 2740 option. Two balances with this option can carry a window sash weight of 19 through 26 pounds.
