Balance Replacement Parts

Hi Swisco Experts,

I need to order Sash balancers for my Certainteed Windows that were installed 11 years back. I need six 31-3 sash balancers.
The sash weight for 2 widows is 14.5lb and 1 window is 21lb. It says "31 3" on the side. It looks like a 1/2" wide balancer. Confirming the length needed is 31".

Please see below several photos of one of sash balancer - top, bottom, side, hook, etc with measurements. I went through all the models on your Website and do not see an exact match of the top an bottom plastic pieces as well as the hook shape at the bottom.

Please help advise what style I should order from your website if you support this style. Please also confirm if 31-3 takes care of the weight of the sashes?

We can replace this balance, but it will have to be a special order. Before we can begin, can you confirm how many you need? Can you also confirm the length of the metal channel? It should be 31-5/8".

As for the sash weight, a 31-3 stamp carries 15 through 22 pounds. That may be a bit on the heavy side, but not by much. Did you find these old balances worked well in the past? If so, there's no reason to change it. If 31-3 worked well up till now then they should work well again.

If you wanted to go down a grade, though, then the 31-2 stamp carries 12 through 15 pounds. Let me know!
