Balance Rod Replacement

Question

Can you cross balace rods that were installed on my single hung window? They have a product ID from company name Unique. P/N: 21-E-50. It is approx. 21.5 to 22 inching in length.

Thanks for reaching out! Your exact balance is no longer available but our Series 770 Channel Balance should work to replace it. Since the length of the channel appear to be closer to 22", you'll need the S770-22.

Our 22E stamp will support a sash weighing 24 to 27lbs. You may want to double check your sash weight to confirm that it falls between that range.

If you are looking to replace the pivot shoe, I'll need to know the width and thickness of the existing shoe.
