Please compare our 15-015 pivot shoe to yours. It's my top recommendation. We also recommend using the 75-006 to make installation easier. You use the tool to attach the spiral to the pivot shoe.

Is the blue insert opening 5/16" x 3/16"?

Yes, the 15-015 center blue cam's opening measures 5/16" x 3/16".
