Balance Stamp letters

The letters represent the weight rating of the spring. In other words, they indicate how much weight the balances can support as a pair.

We have a weight chart on the store page of each balance in our catalog that tells you exactly how much weight each option supports. Other than that, the only way to know the weight of the sash is to weigh it on a scale. Any common bathroom scale will do.

Otherwise, it's not really possible to extrapolate the weight from the stamp alone. You either need to weigh your sash or check a reference, like the charts I mentioned.
