Hello,

We can't be sure with the hardware still installed but your pivot shoe resembles the 15-087 housing pivot, which uses the Series 180 coil springs. Take a look and compare the specifications below and the accessories related on this page to your hardware uninstalled. You'll also need to locate the stamp codes on your coil springs to choose the corresponding strength options.

Removed broken spring and shoe and took pictures of the measurement but I only found the shoe "PAT 5353548" and the etch code of "7 EG" on the spring where it attached to the frame.

Is there another place or information I should provide?

Unforutnately, we are not able to make out exact dimensions from photos but the parts that we mentioned in our last response would be our best matches based on your photos. If the original coils are stamped with 7, see the S180-07 coil springs. If you decide to purchase these parts and run into any issues, our return policy can be found here

Casey,
the dimension of the block were 2 3/8 x ~1 1/4, by 1/2. Patent number 5353548
Are you sure this is the right set? My windows pivot has a notch that sticks up more like a short upside down "T"

Additionally do i need the tandem coil housing or only the coil housing pivot?

And, could i reuse my mounting bracket or is there a difference??

The 15-087 also has the same T-shaped pegs at the top used to attach to the 15-086 tandem housing, which you will only need if your window uses two or more coils on each side. You should also be able to reuse the original mounting bracket. We related the various parts used with this assembly so that you could pick out the ones needed for your repair.

As for the dimensions, unfortunately, we do not carry a version of this housing pivot that measures 1-1/4" wide. I would recommend double-checking your measurement to confirm that the 1-3/16" dimensions of our part will work for your application.

remeasured... definitely 1 1/4 box... 1 3/16 would be bigger than the current pivot... but both are in good shapes... and the balance spring looks like it would fit. do you think it would be ok to use my pivot housing with new springs?

As long as the specifications of your springs match the S180, you should be able to replace them and reuse the original housings.
