You made a couple of non-ribbed channel balances for me a while ago, 27D Series 770. Would you kindly tell me what size nylon cord these balances use? I need to replace the cord in another balance. Also, what length is the cord for these balances; or is the length calculated based on the tension in pounds required? Thank you for your assistance. Kind regards, Rick

I'm afraid we do not sell replacement cords, and we do not recommend trying to replace them yourself. In fact, we highly advise that you don't try it. The balance manufacturers themselves ask that customers avoid it because of the danger that a rivet or spring may break and hit the person repairing the balance. With the amount of effort and cost it would take to successfully swap out the cord, it would ultimately be easier to just buy new balances.
