Question

I don't believe these are top mounted screws. I didn't see any. I believe these are clip mounted balances since the jambs do come out.

It's tough to make out what you have from these photos, but it appears to be a match for our Series 770. However this balance assembly is expressly designed to install using a screw. If yours uses any other method, then you need to remove an undamaged assembly from the window entirely and show us clear photos of precisely how it installs. There is a good chance this would have to be a custom order balance.

I also note that your stamp only has a number, not a letter. That is uncommon, so that's two red flags. You'll need to weigh your sash on a scale and tell me what you get so that we can calculate the proper spring strength for you. I'd also like you to verify that the length of the metal channel is, indeed, 28".

I'm very confident we can supply you with a working replacement balance, but since we may need to custom make this we need to be thorough in collecting these details so that we ensure we get you the best possible assembly for the job!
