Balance identification

Question

I am trying to replace several balances on my windows. I believe I need the 385 series (definately a 1905 top and went with bottom was a little past 1inch so thought 385 instead of 380)but am unsure of stamp option because there is no stamp on my current balance. I have two sizes of windows. one is 20lbs and measures 39 1/2-29 and the second is 18lbs and measures 293/4 -331/2. Do I get the 2530 for the 18 lbs? and the 2540 for the 20lbs? If it doesn't work can I exchange balance for right one.

Thanks for contacting us. I agree with your choices. For the 18 pound sash, I would use the 2530 option, while for the 20 pound sash I would use the 2540. For future reference, we have a chart on each channel balance store page that shows how much weight each option can support. That's all you need to reference to determine what option you need.
