My old balance says 28 BSI. Is the BSI the same weight range as the HD? S751-29

BSI is the manufacturer, not part of the stamp that is used for the weight range. There should be something in between the number 28 and BSI. If not and you're confident that the S71 is what you need, you can weigh the sash and follow the chart under the product description. If you have any further questions please let us know!
