I measured the balance which is actually 28.5" which length should I order, 28 or 29?

First, can you tell me what kind of balance this is? Is it a spiral balance, channel balance, or perhaps something else? Can you also tell me what Series you have? If it does, indeed, measure 28.5, it will have to be custom made and we need to know everything about the balance so that we can make it for you. Let's start with the information I've just requested and then work from there.

Reference number is D42478

I need spiral balance like your 600 series (5/8"). I measured the length the way you shown in your website it is 28.5"

Thank you. I think in this case it would be safe to go up to an S600-29. Spiral balances are slightly less persnickety about this kind of thing than other balance types.
