Balance part identification

Question

Please help identify the type of spiral balance. Attached are picture from a funtioning window and a window that won't stay up. Both windows are the same dimensions

Thanks for reaching out to us. This appears to be an old style non-tilt window spiral balance. These are difficult to source these days, but I will try my best.

Before I can begin, would it be possible to see a clearer photo of the hook or clip at the end of the spiral rod? I can't make it out from these photos, it's too obscure. Right now that's the most important detail.
