I'm trying to replace the balances in a few windows. They are non tilt. With the picture I provided, what tool is need to release the clip from the balance from the sash?

Thanks for posting. Based on what I can see, I believe this PGT non-tilt window probably uses spiral balances. Getting spiral balances out of a non-tilt window can be difficult, since you usually can't remove the sash to get at them. But is by no means impossible. First, raise the sash up and, while someone is holding it up, hook a charging tool like the 75-005 to the bottom of the spiral and un-hook the balance from the sash clip. This might be tricky to do with what little space you have to get at the spiral rod, but do your best. Do the same on the other side, the lower sash, and unscrew the balances at the top to remove them. You'll have to pull them out from the top. To reinstall new balances, you would reverse this process.

See the video below that explains the details of your spiral balance that we'll need to identify a replacement. We'll do our best to help you from there.
