Balance replacement

Quick Learner from Atlanta, GA
It appears that the balance on many of my windows is not working properly. My hopes is that by replacing the balances on many of these windows, that it'll save me having to buy new windows. Can you confirm the part that I need for this model? See images. THANK YOU!!!

Hello,

I'm confident that we'll be able to help you but, unfortunately, we can't identify a replacement balance based on the manufacturer since there is no correlation between the two. We'll need to see a picture of one of the balances removed from the window with the length to point you toward the correct replacement part. Thank you!

The stamped number on the balance only indicates the spring strength. In order for u to determine the proper replacement, we will need for you to remove the entire balance from the window and upload photos for us to review. The nylon fittings on both ends of the balance play an important role when searching for a match, so we need to see them. Thank you.

Hi! Thank you so much for getting back with me. I was able to locate the code on the balance. I believe it reads 273OX. See image attached. Please let me know if you still need me to take out the entire balance with the length included. Looking forward to you hopefully having the piece I need to revive many of my worn out windows:-)

Thanks Casey, I think I've gotten the information you need. See updated pictures of one of the balances. Img_5822 is missing the flat square plastic piece visable at the top of the window. Hope this is helpful in pin pointing what I need. The length of the metal end to end is 28" long.

Thanks! Sherrie

These photos are perfect, thank you! I recommend our S390-28 channel balance. This comes with a 19-002 top and 15-001 bottom nylon fitting, so as long as they match up in terms of size then I think this will be a good option for you. I would also recommend the 2730 option, of course.
