Balance replacement

Home Owner from Roxborough - Philadelphia PA
Good morning
The window is a tilt in window. The balances are round. I have attached some pictures. Can you identify the replacement needed?
Thank you
I have used your parts to replace balances on regular windows - they work great now!

Hello,

It looks like your window uses spiral balances but well need a bit more information to narrow down your replacement options. First, we'll need to see your balance removed from the window, including the spiral tip that connects to the pivot shoe. We'll also need you to write out the exact length and diameter of the spiral tube. Lastly, we'll need to confirm the color of the plastic tip at the base of the housing tube. It looks like it may be black but it's tough to be sure. Thank you!

Let's just start with that you are the best!
I am attaching several pictures that I hope answer the questions.
Yes. I believe they are spiral. The shoe is white; just old and dirty. The diameter and lengths are in the pictures. I don't know how much tolerance is available between sizes or if you want interior diameter or exterior.
Thank you for helping me with this repair

Hey, Susan. Casey isn't here today but I'll do my best to assist you.

To start, the diameter of your balance tube appears to exceed 1/2" and the length is 31", so odds are you have our 9/16" S600-31. Your old tip appears to be blue, but you can always weigh your sash on a scale to confirm that this is correct. Two S600-31 spiral balances with a blue tip can carry sashes weighing 12 through 31 pounds. As long as your sash weight falls in that range, you're good to go.
