Balance replacement

Hi, I have what appears to be an H-R single hung sliding window with dual spiral balances on each side that are broken and need replacement parts. I can't find the manufacturer and assume they are out of business or have been acquired. Can you help with parts?

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see photos of your balance removed form the window, as well as confirm the exact diameter and length of the housing tube, to compare to our inventory. Thank you!

Hello, thank you for your reply. Attached please find pictures detailing length, width and attachemt method to bottom of window. It appears to be 30" x 3/8" but please confirm. Note there are two balances on each side and one is broken on each side. Please advise on next steps. Thank you. Scott

Thanks for getting back to us. I can't quite make out the end of your spiral but I would recommend starting by comparing the 3/8" diameter S400-30 spiral balance to yours. These balances anchor to the bottom of the sash using one of the bracket options shown under the related items section of the balance product page. Take a look and compare the specifications of this part to an undamaged balance assembly to determine if this might be the replacement that you need.
