Balance replacement

Hi

I need a couple window balances.

There are no markings other than 4 raised bumps.

I measured 36" and it looks like 5/8" wide

Hello and thank you choosing SWISCO.com. It looks like you could need the S350-36. If there are no markings on your balance, you will need to weigh your sash on a scale to confirm the best option.

Hi Tom,

somehow I had a second post that seems to have gotten lost.

I have a balance that's marked "27-4-FF Caldwell".

The metal part measured 28" and the sash weighs 21 lbs.

Any recommendations for a replacement?

I'm not sure. The stamp doesn't tell me what Series you have, that's only indicative of the spring strength calibration. The only way to match up the Series is by comparing the nylon caps on either end to those replacement parts we offer on our site. You can see our entire selection here.
