Balance rod

Question

Please help me identify what I need. This is from a impact window. The sash is about 36 lbs. the metal part of the rod is 30". The rod is stamped 29DS 38 BSI. I will need 6 of these.

Hello,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-30 or S385-30 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. Your balance stamp indicates that you may need 2965 spring strength options for your replacement balances to support a 35 to 39 lbs sash but you may want to weigh your sash to confirm.
