Balance rod

Question

I have a Balance rod with odd stamps on it. Odd to me anyway. It is stamped 29DS 48L. Now I'm assuming that its a 29 series, double spring? But I don't see a double spring in it, just 1. Amd a sash weight of 48lbs. I wanted to verify all of this. Plus I don't see double spring balances on your sight. I need 2 of these.

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-30 or S385-30 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. I'd also recommend weighing your window sash to confirm that it is exactly 48 pounds since they will have to be custom-made due to the spring strength required. Once we've confirmed your sash weight and the depth of your bottom attachment based on an undamaged balance, we can get a price quote together for you.
