To confirm which of these is the correct replacement, you'll need to confirm the depth of the coil housing. The S161 has a depth of 9/16" and the S210 has a depth of 7/8".

Once you've confirmed the depth, you'll need check the housing or the metal coils for any stamps that might indicate the spring strength you need. If there are no stamps or markings, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of the sash, the divide the sash weight by the total number of coils in the window. For example, if you have a 16lb window, you'll need (2) 8lbs coils to support the window weight.
