Balance spring anchor

Question

Metal pin used to anchor either 3/8" or 1/2" barrel balance spring (balance spring is round).  Anchored into the side of the window openong

I'm sorry to say that I don't know what this part would be. We don't sell balance spring anchors separately; indeed, most balance spring fasteners I've seen have been rivets, not screws. It would be very uncommon for a screw to hold all that tension alone.

Typically when a component on your balance breaks like this, you need an all new assembly. I think it would be best at this stage if you were to show us a photo of the balance in question and we can work backwards from there.
