I'm looking for balances for our Metal Industries windows. Windows are from the early 90's, purchased from Hechingers. The channels are approximately
1-1/4" Wide and 9/16" deep. 1/2" wide Flat spring steel between the upper piece and the lower piece(pivot for tilt windows). Thanks for any help. Ken
Thanks for reaching out! Your coil balance shoe appears to be our 15-180. Look over the dimensions and compare them to your existing shoe to confirm that this is the right replacement.
The compatible coil springs would be the Series 190 Coil Springs. To determine the spring strength needed for your sash, check for stamps/markings on the coil springs that may indicated the weight it can hold. You'll need to confirm this from both coils. The support looks similar to our double support detent clip, part 15-181.
