Balance springs

Question

I removed the balance spring from a window and now that I am ready to put in a new one, there is no place for the screw to screw into. I think it's missing a balance screw plug. Any ideas?

Sure, as long as the hole is 1/4" x 1/4" square then you can use our 26-200 screw plug as a replacement.
