Balance springs

Hello there. This looks like the 15-180 Pivot Shoe, which works with Series 190 Coil Balances. Look for stamps on the old coil springs to determine what spring weights to select; if there are none or you are unsure, just give me the exact weight of the window sash that these springs support, and I can work it out for you. For new housing, see the 15-181 and 15-182. Let me know if you have questions.

Great, that means you have a 9 pound spring with 32" of travel. Our S190-940 should work in the same capacity. This is also a 9" spring but with 40" of travel, but that difference in travel won't have any affect on function in your case.
