Balancer

Question

The spiral spring Balancer in our single hung Hurd window broke, I would like the part number, where to purchase it, and instructions on how to replace it.  The entire window height is approx. 58", the lower window is approx. 29".  The house was built in 1998.

Thanks for reaching out! Given you have a tilt window, your spiral balances could be either our 5/8" Series 600 Balances or our 3/8" Series 900 Spiral Balances. However, I wouldn't be able to determine the balance needed using the measurements for the window, unfortunately.
