Good morning. I am trying to repair a pair of double hung, wood sash, non-tilt windows. These windows were built using non-compression vinyl jamb liners that have the spring balancers incorporated into the jamb liner. A few of the components that connect the springs to either the sash or jamb have failed resulting in an unsafe and hard to open & close pair of windows. Any direction here would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Jack

Here is our suggestion: in this situation, take one jamb liner and both sashes to your nearest millwork. They can set you up with a new jamb liner kit.
