Balancer needed

Thanks for reaching out to us. See the S600-35 tilt window spiral balance. The metal tube measures 9/16" in diameter, but it is considered 5/8" in the trade. It couldn't hurt to double-check this just to be safe. 

You'll have to refer to the color of the old tip to know which one to select for the replacements. The video below also goes over the replacement process.
