Balancer question

A home owner from Arizona says:
The tip on my balancer is grayish white. You sell red and blue and say we should match the tip color...which should I buy?

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Typically, a white tip refers to the lowest weight range. However, sometimes this isn't the case. It varies based on the manufacturer and the year. The only surefire way to determine your tip color is to weigh your sash and consult the chart in the product description for the specific spiral balance you need.
