Balancer selection, no color tip

Question

Need to replace balancers for a 30"h x 34"w, 24 lb single hung tilt window (dual pane). Existing balancer is 3/8" diameter with 28" outer tube, no color tip. I'm guessing S900-28. Please confirm and recommend color.

Thanks for the photos. Your balance does look like the S900-28. You just want to confirm the tube diameter of your balance is 3/8". If it is then, you should be ok to go. For a window sash of 24 lbs., you can go with the green colored tip. Take one more look at everything and let us know if any other questions come up.
