Balancer top and shoe ID

I know I have the right balancer length and width (21" long and 9/16 wide), one set is stamped 2020 and the other 2040 (2 types of windows). Can't quite tell if I have the right top and shoe, I think its 19-005 and 15-005. Can you tel from these photos? Was goint to order your S380-21

It's hard to tell from these pictures. That shoe could either be our 15-005 or 15-004, but without knowing specific dimensions I can't say. Take a look at the dimensions for both and let me know which is closer.

It's really hard to measure with it still riveted to the old balancer, but it appears the 2nd image is closer. So that's the 15-004.

Also, just noticed when I pulled the balancer from the larger window (2040) that it actually has different end pieces - glad I looked! The top appears to be a 19-002 - the width of the tabs is 1/2", but at its widest point its 9/16", a measurement not really shown on your diagram. Is that correct? The bottom shoe is probably a 15-002, though the length (from bottom to top) is more like 1 1/16" rather than just 1". I don't see anything else that's close, does that matter?

Ah, I see. In that case, for the first balance, I think you might want to look at our Series 385 channel balance. As for the other one, I think you might have the 15-001 shoe instead. I just think that it may have been worn down from use. Either way, even if the 15-001 is a bit too big, you can always sand it down a bit so that it's the right size, whereas the 15-002 would always be just a little too small. With that in mind, I recommend our Series 390 balance.
