It's tough to make out the balance in your photo, but it looks like a coil type. Specifically something like our Series 161 or Series 210. Look these two products over to confirm which one would work best for your window, if either.

The two balances I recommended also have a plastic clip at the top, usually something like the 16-031. I really do think you have one of these two parts. You should ask your installer to double check to be sure.

If you're positive that neither the Series 161 nor Series 210 will work, then I need clearer photos of your balance. Seeing how your part differs from ours will be necessary.
