Are there any other additional stampings on your current sash balance that you may be able to provide to us? Would you also maybe able to provide a photo of your sash balance to us so that we can take a closer look?

I have two balances with two different numbers (from same window) There are numbers on the flat flange that comes off the side with the screw hole in it, they are very tough to read but as far as I can tell, they are the following:(1) L8/1227 K56892 (2) R12/827 K56892. The window is about 32" wide and about 24 years old.

Thanks for getting back to us. Based on your stamp of "1227," we recommend the 24-1231. For the other window stamped "827," see our 24-837.
