Balancers are unmarked

I have double hung sash windows. I think I need to replace 4 balancers in the entire widow. Diameter of metal rod is 4/16ths. The spring is 9 2/16ths inches long. The spring is hooked to a piece of plastic and there is also a string.

I'm not sure which balancer to purchase. A handyman told me I need S770. Do you agree?

The rod balances shown in your photos are no longer available but I agree that the S770 would be the correct replacement. I would recommend confirming the length of an undamaged balance and weighing your sash to follow the chart under the S770 product description. The chart will indicate the strength option needed to support your sash. Thank you!
