Balancers for our Milgard windows - at least 24 years old

Hi,

Attached are images of our balancer (27" long). I can't see an exact match for the top one. We have a notch in the middle which i cannot find in your catalog.

Could you tell us which one to order?

I think S380 is the closest (https://www.swisco.com/27-inch/pd/Series-380-Channel-Balances/S380-27).

Or could be 385 or a slight chance of being 395.

Hi there, Rajesh. Your balance does in fact look like both our S380-27 and S385-27. You will need to measure the depth of your bottom balance shoe, like in the diagram below, and compare it with each balance to make the best choice in replacement. Whichever one you choose will go with a 2640 option.

It's hard to measure the difference between 1 and 1.3/32 with a measuring tape. It looks like 1.1/32 !! :)

So i don't plan to weigh the window and go with the 2640. If this is incorrect please let me know.

And another window, little larger says "26 3 BN CALDWELL" instead of "26 4" that was there in the above submitted photo) i assume it means i have to order 2630 option.

Talked with Steve and concluded that the balancer that was originally installed was wrong. My window is 26Lbs so it should be 2640 (or 2650) but not 2630.
