Hi, our balances say 2810. It looks like the 28" series 390 channel balance should work, but I don't see 2810 listed. We weighed the sash and it's 11- lbs. would the 2710 work for us, or did we calculate it wrong?

Hello there. The first two digits of a stamp do not refer to the channel length. They refer to the height of visible glass in the window. The metal channel is typically 1" longer. Therefore, if this is a Series 390 balance, you'd need the S390-29, with a stamp of 2810.

Hi there, I just wanted to follow up. We purchased what you suggested but now we need the plastic stoppers (sorry, don't know what they're offically called), can you suggest the specific pieces that would work?

It sounds like you mean the Top Sash Guides, the nylon blocks that keep the channel balances aligned with the window sash. The Series 390 can work with many different kinds. Can you remove one and show it to us from the front and side? that will narrow it down.
