Balances and plastic parts for acorn

Question

I have 5 total windows that need new balances, but 3 different size windows. Do I need to remove the balance I need in order for you to get the correct part to me? Thanks.

For your Acorn 3500 Series window, the 18-041 top sash guide should work well. The balance you show should be able to replaced with our S710-29 with a 2840 option. Please note the balance bottom shoe will be different since the mold has been lost to make them when Acorn went out of business. To order the other balances, you will need the balance channel length and spring weight code stamped on it. Review our videos on this page for more help.
