Baldwin brass classic round exterior door knob

Cannot remove knob to get to cylinder to reset. Do I approach from the back or from the side pinhole?

Door knobs usually have a small indent of the neck where you place a awl to unlock the knob from the lock stem. Try that and see if it works.
