Bathroom Window Balance Parts

Question

Both sides of the balance parts are no longer working. The part number I got from the right side is all I have for now. Are you able to identify the parts I will need to get so the window can be repaired and open up and down again?

Please advise.

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in! I am confident we can supply you with a replacement for your existing balances but I'll need a bit more information to confirm the right replacement.

I'll need to see photos of the top and bottom attachments on an undamaged balance, removed from the window. I am also looking to see a clearer photo of the stamp from the balance.

Since the window is stuck up in the channel, it is likely you'll also need to replace the top sash guides. These are the plastic pieces at the top left and right corner of the sash. They help to guide the balances in the window channel when opening and closing the window.
