Looks like you need a new top sash guide. I am confident that you can use our 18-171 to replace your original. Let me know if you had any other questions!

Yes, the 18-171 top sash guide appears to match, thanks, but the window had no channel balancers on either side, so I need to install new ones. Bottom glass 17"W x 18"H, Top glass 20.5"W x 18"H. I have not weighed the window, but it is light.

What would be your recommendation on channel balancers?

Unfortunately, I can't determine what balances you have if the originals are missing. The 18-171 is compatible with a ton of different balances, so I can't really use that as a reference. I need the originals.

Do you have an identical window in the house that uses the same hardware? If so, we can use the balances from that to determine what you need.

If not, though, then you will need to contact the original installers or manufacturer of the window.
