I originally bought this bay window at 'One Stop Windows & Doors in Torrance 15+ years ago.
The side windows measure 32.5" X 12". The inside weather stripping looks to be rubber tubing with a tail that fits into the inside window metal frame.
The outside stripping is a stiff plastic that fits into the out-side metal frame that serves to hold the window in place.
Is it much difficulty to replace the cranks?
Thank You, C.

Hi there! It's a bit hard to tell what you have from these photos. Your weatherstripping seems to be a bit damaged. Could you upload some clearer pictures of the end profile? Take a look at the video below, it'll go over exactly what we'll need to see. I don't find it too difficult to replace the crank operators but if you don't feel comfortable with it, we suggest contacting a local professional for help. |
Thank you for your response. Hopefully the attached will clarify exactly what's needed.
Whom would you recommend in my area (90505)to replace the cranks?
Thank you,
Calvin

Your seal is a bit worn so it's hard to tell, but start by taking a look at our 58-200. Look over our dimensions and compare them to your original seal to see if you think this could work. As for the white glazing, we'll need to see the end profile. In the meantime, you can see our selection of snap in glazing here. I'm afraid we're not familiar with your area, so we're not sure. I apologize for the inconvenience. |
