Bay window crank broken on both the side windows

I need help identifying the type of crank and how to change it out

It looks like I need top the trim off around the window I want to  make sure, Bfore I start popping pieces of wood off, ruining the windows

It is possible you need to remove the wood trim, but there's also a good chance that the screws will be accessible without doing that. You'll need to open the window and look at the operator from the other side to determine if the sill trim gets in the way of the screws.

As for the best replacement, we need to see the entire operator out of the window all in one shot before we can make a recommendation.
